Waking up in Bemmel, a small town outside of Nijmegen, the rain and the wind seem to have passed. I was woken at 2 by the weather. A lazy start with a tasty

We popped to the supermarket and then tried to get some fuel, but the town was under renovations, and both petrol stations were closed. Heading north now up through Germany. We stopped about halfway through for lunch and found a local nature reserve. We had a good walk as yesterday and today has been mostly driving.

We planned to finish at an rv park in the border town of Flensburg to say there were a lot of motor homes that would be an understatement. Some were like coaches.

We had dinner but didn’t want to stay with so many others. Back to the app and I found a lovely spot just across the border.

As the sun was setting, we went for a wander. After a long day’s drive, it was good to settle in for the night.
