Time for the off. We woke up and took the girls to nursery, although today we stopped at the bakery on the way and had lovely pastry for breakfast.

It was yet another grey day, but if we didn’t start our travels, we would be in Stavanger for the whole of our holiday. We headed out of the city and into the mountains to find a waterfall.

We found a beautiful little car park and a walk into the mountains to find the waterfall above.

Walking further on up the track using the chains to help us over the tricky parts. When we get up to the top of the falls, there is a lovely hut. Not like the huts in the UK on walking routes. It’s amazing the quality of the buildings in the middle of know where.

The valley was beautiful, and the relatively quiet as we were quite late in arriving. After wandering back down, we had a good dinner and stayed in the car park listening to the sound of the waterfalls.
