Yes, we’ve been in lots of countries but not norway until today or the last 15 mins of it anyway. Today, we explored the Stenbjerg Landingsplads Nationalpark.

We went on a 5.1km walk up and down over the dunes. The ground was soft and covered in scrub. The weather has continued to improve today with the sun breaking through as we walked. We had lunch and headed along the coast.

Google Maps showed a bunker not unusual when you considered where we are. On rounding the corner, the extent of the German position became clear we stopped to explore.

Exploring the complex was very interesting accommodation, magazines and quarters all sunken into the dunes.

Dinner time and onto the ferry. Katie made an amazing meal this evening. Hot smoked salmon and egg fried rice very tasty. Then to the ferry. We departed ahead of time, but it will be a late one not expecting to land until 2345.

Off the ferry by midnight and a 15 min drive to a little carpark we were followed all the way by a German camper with the same idea. Parked up and sleep.
